Job summary

In the exciting new fixed-term role, hosted by BrisDoc, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively across a range of partner organisations (including South Western Ambulance Service Foundation Trust and Avon and Wiltshire Partnership Trust) to investigate, analyse, present and challenge processes and data for the nationally recognised and award-winning mental health urgent and emergency care provision in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG).

You will be gathering information via a variety of methods, including the collection and analysis of service data, interviewing key stakeholders, investigating existing documentation, monitoring live operational environments and patient flow and looking at the functionality and data structure of key information systems.

Main duties of the job

Example current projects within the Mental Health Integrated Access Hub include analysing the cost of patients to the system, before and after recent changes to the service. This includes comparing pathways through the service pre and post implementation.

Based on this analysis, and in conjunction with the programme team, the Data Analyst will look for areas of efficiency, process improvements or organisation savings. Using this information, you will then articulate options around organisational change and assist in presenting these back to sponsors and key stakeholders.

Once agreed, the Data Analyst will be involved in effecting the systems development, implementation and facilitation of successful change and benefits realisation.
