Are you looking for a flexible opportunity to work waking nights? Do you want to work with young people, supporting them on their path to independence? If yes, then please read on.

We need people who want to work waking nights to provide cover in our Young Peoples Accommodation Services in North, East and South London. Our waking night staff provide an overnight point of contact for our young people, ideally you will have some experience of working with 16 plus and Young Persons and in a residential setting. 

Single Homeless Project is a London-wide charity. Our vision is of a society where everyone has a place to call home and the chance to live a fulfilling life. We help single Londoners by preventing homelessness, providing support and accommodation, promoting wellbeing, enhancing opportunity, and being a voice for change.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have a genuine commitment to working with vulnerable people
  • Can manage the sometimes complex behaviours our clients may present with, and adapt to fit with those varying needs
  • Have an ability to work well in teams
  • Have a flexible and resilient approach to their work
  • Are self-motivating and reliable
  • We offer the chance to gain valuable experience working as part of a dynamic service staffed by experienced and committed individuals.

     The shifts for these posts include weekends and Bank holidays.

    This post will require an Enhanced DBS check to be processed for the successful applicant.
