Are you experienced in Housing Solutions? We are looking for someone who has knowledge in housing to join the experienced Housing Demand Service and Housing Solutions team.

As a Housing Solutions Support Officer you will support homeless prevention and relief officers to deliver effective housing solutions and homelessness services for clients with a variety of housing and social needs.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Effective and efficient administration and reception support to the Housing Solutions Service.

  • A comprehensive knowledge of the challenges and complexities around homelessness today and have a commitment to addressing housing issues and reducing homelessness.

  • Confident customer service skills and experience with a public, face-to-face role.

  • Competent IT skills with programmes such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

    • Work will be in all areas including:

  • To support the housing solutions officers by:

    providing detailed, timely and comprehensive advice and information
    pro-actively developing and maintaining an up-to-date and comprehensive understanding of the full range of housing options
    participating in regional, London-wide, and national networks to ensure the Council is able to provide high quality housing advice and homelessness prevention services.
