Job summary

We are looking to recruit a new team to take over the running of the Community Vaccination Hubs across BSW. The team will be responsible for organising community vaccinations in all outreach settings including housebound, care homes, homeless venues and many varied community venues. They will have clinical and operational responsibility, using the dedicated bank workforce for vaccination staff where required. The team will be providing not only covid vaccination, but also with other vaccinations, healthcare and health prevention work, expanding as we move towards an integrated vaccination strategy.

Main duties of the job

The ideal candidate for the manager and deputy manager roles will have previous experience at supervisor level in the covid vaccination programme, and be a registered clinician qualified as an independent prescriber or working towards this. Flexibility with location and organisation skills are essential, as well as confidence to make decisions, albeit with support and guidance from the wider ICB vaccination team.

About us

Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that all applicants can drive and have their own transport. The role will be based across BaNES, Swindon and Wiltshire, mainly site based with occasional working from home. Job share will be considered. Fixed term 12 month contract, Job share and shorter term contracts will be considered.
