We have a great opportunity based at our Central Beds College campus for a Exams Needs Assessor / Additional Learning Support Tutor to become a key member of our Quality department.

As a Exams Needs Assessor / Additional Learning Support Tutor, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students through:

  • Assessing Further Education learners for Disabled Students Allowance (DSA), carry out diagnostic assessments for specific learning difficulties and assess Access Arrangements for examinations.
  • Delivering effective, up-to-date and stimulating learning opportunities, leading to success and progression for our learners. You will underpin your teaching activity with timely completion of all administration duties and professional development.
  • Training and supporting Teaching Assistants to enable them to better support learners
  • Delivering support to individuals and groups as necessary
  • Our ideal candidates will have proven experience of working with young people or adults who have learning difficulties, disabilities or who present challenging behaviour and previous experience of working with students and supporting them in an educational environment, alongside the following qualifications:

  • GCSE Grade C / 4 or above in English and Maths.
