Prospectus is excited to be working with Glass Door Homeless Charity to help them recruit a Fundraising Officer: Individual Giving, Trusts & Foundations. Based in London, Glass Door coordinates The UK’s largest network of open-access services for people affected by homelessness. Year-round, people find advice and support to end their homelessness through trained caseworkers based at partnering drop-in centres.
This role is offered on a full-time permanent basis paying £25,000 to £30,000 per annum with hybrid working arrangements between home and their London office.
This role provides plenty of variety and development and the opportunity to support and develop skills in several income streams. The post holder will work collaboratively with the fundraising and communications teams and closely with the Head of Fundraising & Major Donors and Fundraising Manager: Trusts and Foundations. You will manage direct marketing appeals including their flagship annual Christmas appeal and taking the lead on the direct mail and email campaign and contributing to the digital campaign plans on social media and the website.
The ideal candidate will have experience of project management and of using a fundraising database to segment and select data, produce reports and analyse information. They are looking for someone with experience of basic copywriting to produce fundraising letters and other materials.
