Job Title: Women`s Justice Practitioner (Criminal Justice)

Location: Warwickshire

Hourly Pay: £14.75

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 35 hours per week

About the role

GreenSquareAccord has have been commissioned by Changing Lives to provide needs led support to women under the supervision of the National Probation Service. GreenSquareAccord is part of the Women`s Justice Partnership (WJP) along with Changing Lives, Anawim and Black Country Women`s Aid

Women become involved in the Criminal Justice System for a complex range of reasons. In our gender specific services we provide holistic support to women by women, to overcome challenges and address needs, enabling them to successfully move-on from services and live fulfilling, crime free flourishing lives. We will be particularly required to support women with overcoming issues around their:

  • Personal Wellbeing
  • Accommodation
  • Finance, Benefits and Debts
  • Employment, Training and Education
  • Family and Significant Others
  • Lifestyle and Associates
  • Social Inclusion
  • Dependency and Recovery
  • The successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and Enhanced level 1 vetting prior to appointment

    About you

    As a Women`s Justice Practitioner, you will be part of a small team delivering a specifically designed programme of support which focusses on self-esteem, emotions management, boundaries, communication skills and healthy relationships among others.

    You will be working with a complex client group to promote and deliver the Springboard programme to meet the needs of these women and help them build the skills to move away from a life of crime. You will be responsible for achieving clear outcomes using a strengths based approach through facilitating discussions and activities in a group setting. You will also be required to deliver support one to one where deemed appropriate.
