A Local Authority in London is looking for a Qualified Social Worker within Children’s Social Work to join their No Resource to Public Funds Team on a locum, offering a competitive pay rate of up to £37.00 per Day.

    • Responsibilities of you as a Qualified Social Worker:

  • Undertaking Initial screening of contacts and child eligibility of families referred by the MASH, Localities, or care planning teams.
  • Work closely with the housing department in identifying and providing support for families who are already homeless or at risk of becoming homeless and families who are subject to immigration control.
  • You will undertake initial screenings, duty work, complete financial assessments, human right assessments, child & family assessment and liaise with the Home Office in relation to those families presenting in Brent as destitute.

    • Requirements of you as a Qualified Social Worker:

  • A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
  • A valid Social Work England registration
  • Experience in NRPF roles
