I’m excited to be able to recruit for my client who is looking for an experienced member of staff to join and assist the day to day running of the Housing Needs Team. This role is fundamental to theHousing Supply service within the council and you will be paying a key role!

Main Duties

  • Supporting the housing Needs team in the assessment of those presenting as homeless to prevent homelessness, relieve homelessness, or discharge the housing duty.
  • Dealing with general enquires to homeless applicants, advising them accordingly to the councils procedures.
  • Delivering an efficient customer focused service to a high number of vulnerable and disadvantaged households.
  • Assisting in the development of initiatives to meet any potential requirements.
  • Carrying out admin duties as required by the team.
