Are you a first line support or operationally minded IT Officer? Would you like to work with a purpose driven charity that helps homeless people across London?

This role will assist in the coordination and maintenance of the organisation’s IT networks and systems to ensure that they are effective in supporting the needs of our departments and residents, and to act as a link between end users and managed IT services provider. This role is full time, office based and will be for 6 months with a view to becoming permanent.

The role will also provide technical and administrative support to departments and users in order to ensure that they can make optimum use of the organisation’s IT networks, systems, and associated hardware and software. You will be responsible for promoting digitalisation initiatives across the organisation. Ideally you will have experience of working within a customer-facing IT Team and managing IT issues raised by internal staff to Managed IT Service Provider. You will regularly check and maintain equipment such as laptops, PCs, scanners, printers, portable displays, projectors to ensure that these are functioning and available to users. You will also assist with procurement and distribution of IT Assets, keeping accurate records of these.

Additional experience required:

– Experience of working in a cloud environment experience of managing users and their access rights in a cloud environment

– Significant experience of supporting users with technical queries with complex IT systems

– Experience of installing window updates and other security features to laptops and desktops as appropriate

– Experience of fixing common problems with networks, PCs, laptops, Printers or other hardware
