We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team.

You will lead multiple projects, ensuring alignment with our mission and values.

Collaborating closely with BrisDoc’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT), you will provide project management expertise for strategic initiatives, new service implementations, and service/function enhancements.

Main duties of the job

1. Defining and Delivering Project Outcomes: Lead and manage projects and initiatives across BrisDoc as directed by the Programme and Service Director, ensuring that project deliverables are clearly defined and met.

2. Service Mobilisation: Oversee service mobilisation projects, ensuring smooth transitions and efficient service delivery.

3. Plan and Facilitate Stakeholder Activities: Organise and conduct project management meetings and workshops.

4. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables, maintaining effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

5. Benefits Realisation Plans: Develop plans that demonstrate improved performance in terms of quality, safety, people, cost, and delivery.

6. Support the Sharing of Results and Celebrating Success: Assist in developing communications to share project results and celebrate successes.

7. Transformation: Support projects that drive organisational transformation across BrisDoc, promoting innovation and efficiency.

8. Supporting Organisational Change Priorities: Assist in identifying, prioritising, and implementing organisational change initiatives, ensuring alignment with BrisDoc’s strategic goals and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Person Specification

Qualifications and Training

Essential

  • Degree (or equivalant professional qualification)
  • Desirable

  • PRINCE2 and/or MSP similar project/programme management qualification
  • Knowledge and Experience

    Essential

  • Proven experience in project management, ideally with a focus on healthcare service delivery and mobilisation of three years or more
  • Knowledge of the theory and practice of change management and service redesign
  • Desirable

  • Project management certification (, PMP, PRINCE2)
  • Demonstrable change management and project management experience involving clinical services or in a public sector setting
  • Skills, Abilities and Attributes
