My client is looking to source a Homeless Prevention caseworker, with experience of prevention and relief duties.
You will need to have a good knowledge of the Homelessness Reduction Act and Code of Guidance and be able to accept and end a homelessness duty.
You will be expected to work 9 – 5 in the office as well as being able to homework in due course.
The Role:
·The post holder will be the lead officer responsible for providing pre-application planning advice and planning application determination of the Councils own housing and regeneration projects, they will do so on behalf of the Local Planning Authority.
·Reporting to senior planning managers they will work pro-actively to give professional planning input into a varied case load of both smaller housing schemes/condition discharges and major housing/estate regen projects.
·In addition to pro-actively working with internal and external contacts, the post holder may be required to liaise with GLA/TfL officers and to engage with local stakeholder groups. The post holder will be required to have extensive experience of major applications planning in London, and ideally also experience of estate regeneration planning.
