Full time, 37 hours a week. Shift times are 2pm to 10pm, will include some weekends and bank holidays as well as all call duties.

You will manage a team of night workers that work with our homeless clients. You will love supporting others and helping them to progress and achieve their goals. You will have a calm and personable manner and be able to handle potentially difficult situations.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You will support your team to achieve their potential through regular staff supervision, coaching, training and induction
  • Liaise between the day and night teams to ensure consistent and effective communication and provide a handover to day staff after each shift
  • You will be involved in the recruitment of staff for your team
  • Manage staff annual leave, plan rotas and organise cover for absences ensuring adequate cover at all times
  • Manage incidents through the on-call service, emergency services or by providing assistance
  • Be part of the on call service
