An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Temporary Accommodation Support Officer to join a public sector organisation based in Chelmsford.

The successful applicant will have housing administrative experience, ideally within a public sector organisation with knowledge of the allocation and management of temporary accommodation

Key duties will include:

  • Support the Temporary Accommodation Officer with the commissioning, procurement and management of the organisation’s temporary accommodation portfolio, ensuring it meets business needs and agreed quality standards
  • To ensure information about homeless applicants is up to update
  • Input and track data using housing management systems
  • Contract and performance management
  • Dealing with enquiries via telephone and email
