Northampton – £9.50- £12.60 per hour – Weekly Pay – Mileage Paid *

We have an exciting vacancy within the local Northampton area for a Care Assistant to join our team and develop their care skills, working alongside our branch team. We are currently looking for a care assistant to visit our service users and assist them with medication, meal support, personal care, and socialising.
You would be supporting individuals to live independently within their own homes and would be allocated consistent hours with advance rosters around your flexible availability. We require support in the early mornings, evenings and during the weekend (working availability required for every other weekend). Due to the location and travel requirements across Northampton, a driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.
Your role will include:
Prompting and administering medication
Helping with the preparation of meals and drinks
Assisting with activities of daily living such domestic duties and personal care
Assisting individuals to access the community
Working as a wider team to deliver individualised care and support, including care calls which are on a 2:1 basis to support need
Maintaining and updating reports such as care plans and medication charts

Individuals who can demonstrate, at interview stage held on Teams, a willingness and clear drive to complete training requirements and a passion to provide care for others
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to task prioritise, multi-task and organise
Ability to demonstrate working standards in line with Prestige Nursing & Care’s values and ethos
Strong communication skills
A driver’s licence & your own car is essential
Good professional and personal references
