Do you have experience as a Housing Solutions Officer? Would you want to offer support to those being discharged from Hospital?

I’m excited to be recruiting for the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. My client is looking for someone to join their experienced Housing team. You will be working closely with various qualified social care professionals to determine the housing needs of vulnerable people, reducing homelessness in the process.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Providing a professional and personal homelessness prevention, and housing option service to individual clients threatened with homelessness.

  • Proven experience ensuring that documentation for the PRS process is compiled

  • Previous experience writing section 184 decision letters.

  • Effective collaborative skills to form relationships with various social workers who you will be working with closely to determine statutory homeless duties, specific housing needs and the most suitable housing options for single clients.

  • Link clients in with the correct support services and maximise their income through the benefit agency.
