Are you looking to join a supportive team to help the decrease of homelessness within the London Borough of Hounslow? Can you carry out a Part 7 assessment?

My client is looking for an experienced individual who is able to add quality knowledge to help delivering housing options advice, prevent homelessness, investigating householder circumstances.

The team are looking for a candidate that can quickly adapt to their way of working and hit the ground running.

What we a looking for from you :

  • Experience directly interviewing homeless clients under Part 6 and 7 of the Housing Act 2017

  • Working knowledge of carrying out reviews in a busy environment, liaising with external parties when necessary

  • Up to date knowledge of the Housing Act 1996 and other relevant case laws which would help inform your decision making

    • What are your responsibilities?

  • Responsible for reviewing decisions made under Part 6 and Part 7 of the Housing Act 1996

  • Provide advice and guidance on how to improve Section 184 decision letters.

  • The ability to move-on individuals into new accommodation

    • If you have previous experience in these areas and keen to develop your knowledge further this is a perfect team for you.
