Our leading edge, dynamic new start-up client is currently searching for a Semiconductor Materials Scientist to join the team in Cambridge. The role will involve working in the product development team to develop, improve and deliver GaN material technologies and solutions for semiconductor wafers and devices. Working closely with the VP Product development and customers will be required as well as publishing scientific papers and attending conferences.

Required skills for the Materials Scientist will include:

  • Compound semiconductor materials / GaN knowledge
  • Analysis techniques experience including Raman spectroscopy, AFM etc
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • PhD Physics, materials, engineering or equivalent
