My client is seeking a Housing Solutions Assistant to meet the high demand of clients within the Housing Solutions department. The Assistant will be confident at providing up to date Housing advice based on working legislational knowledge, such as the Homeless Reduction Act 2017. The client understands the pressures of the position and is keen to support all team members in a comfortable working condition.

The team are looking for an Officer that can keep the Councils database up to date whilst liaising with legal services and monitoring and reporting to management team. A successful Officer will have experience working with vulnerable people and making decisions based on their best interests. The team are looking for a candidate that can quickly adapt to their way of working and provide exceptional advice based on Homeless and Housing knowledge.

Duties Includes :

  • Up to date Housing legislation such as Homeless Reduction Act 2017 and Housing Act 1996.
  • Provide and information to personal and telephone callers to the Housing Solutions Service
  • Understanding on appropriate Housing Solutions based on Part 7 assessments carried out prior to advice
  • If you have previous experience in these areas and keen to develop your knowledge further this is a perfect team for you. Management that are willing to help all case managers be the best they can possibly along with a strong hour rate.
