https://www.vividresoucrcing.com/de/ One of Vivid’s local authority clients in Hertfordshire are looking to take on an experienced housing professional to join the team for at least 6 months.It is an Ex Offender Housing Navigator post. The post is full time hours – at the moment until the end of the year with possibility of extension. The idea of the post is to broker accommodation with private landlords for service users with an offending history. The role is to source accommodation – you would have a package of incentives to use to secure a property – you would be that contact/liaison between tenant and landlord regarding any issues, assisting the service user to move in and then provide some basic tenancy management support in terms of getting set up with bills/budgeting etc. before linking them in with support services for the longer term if needed. The main thing they’re after is someone with the ability to go out and liaise with private landlords and source properties, so must have a good understanding of the private sector. Experience with ex-offenders would be ideal given the client group but as this is fairly niche so any experience working with vulnerable service users would be doable.
