Weir Minerals Europe is part of the Weir Group PLC, the business has been established for over 150 years and is a world leader in the design and manufacture of pumps, valves, cyclones, vibrating screen machines, crushers and other associated equipment for the mining and minerals processing industries.

Business Need / Purpose of Role:

The Contract and Pricing Co-ordinator will be responsible for ensuring WME customer contracts comply to the pricing policy, analysing adherence to pricing and discount conditions for improved accuracy and profitability, maintenance of pricing and discount master data within our ERP system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review of contracts with customers which includes the anniversary and amendments in accordance with the terms. Renewal’s notifications, ensuring WME is applying agreed pricing and terms as per the pricing policy.
  • GM review of customer specific price lists and price groups. Liaise with Product Mangers & Sales Teams to resolve anomalies
  • Calculation of after-market & Repeat OE sales price following pricing structures set by Product Managers
  • Upload and maintenance of after-market & Repeat OE pricing in SAP
  • Creation and maintenance of customer discount structures in accordance with SOP
  • Upload and maintenance of customer specific price lists and price groups in SAP
  • Monthly price list download into Teams
  • Managing all administration tasks in relation to general price increases; removal redundant codes, GM review and liaise with Product Mangers to resolve anomalies, creation of upload files and processing into SAP
  • Audit customer master data to ensure the correct price files are allocated
  • Maintenance of Pricing SOP
  • Monitor and analyses sales order pricing. Monitor terms and conditions such as adherence to general discounts, settlement discounts and discounts conditions for special or agreed to conditions
  • Work alongside the Product Managers and Material Master Data Team to continually improve the pricing process. The goal is to ensure the general price list contains the correct product offering, we have a pro-active method to add parts, redundant materials are removed in a timely manner and where applicable replaced with new codes

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in data analysis, process driven role(s)
  • Excellent analytical skills. Methodical, with attention for detail(s)
  • IT literate, with strong Excel skills
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP System
  • Ability to drive adherence to protocols and business rules
  • Commercially minded, supporting profitability
