An esteemed Housing Association who successfully delivers a crisis intervention and homeless prevention services is looking for a skilled support specialist to join their team across RCT. Joining a high performing team, you will be at the forefront of the mission to reduce and prevent homelessness.
You will provide a support service for vulnerable people in housing need, contacting client via phone or video calls in order to provide relevant practical and emotional support. You will implement a support programme aimed at developing their skills and confidence in order to sustain their tenancy whilst remaining independent in their own homes.
You will be comfortable lone working and confident in dealing with the unique needs of the clients, including complex needs such as those in housing crisis/at risk of homelessness, mental health and experiences with domestic violence.
This exciting full-time role (37 hours p/week) offers flexible working and the opportunity to further develop your support skills in a rewarding field. Furthermore, you will benefit from free parking and business mileage expenses.
