The Role

As a trainee recruitment consultant, you will join onto a rotational mentoring programme where you will be working with experienced recruiters, managers and directors to kickstart your career.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Generating candidates (advertising, head-hunting, referrals)
  • main focus on learning, developing market intel, understanding the sector when you start
  • building relationships with clients and candidates and using a variety of recruitment methods to manage the process.
  • Account managing clients
  • Marketing roles and candidates
  • Requirements

  • They are looking for people who have excellent communication skills – articulate, emotionally intelligent and down to earth.

  • Eager to learn, ask questions – the learning never stops as their markets change so rapidly and new start-ups constantly appear with innovative technology

  • Degree-level education – 2:1 and above in any subject

  • Evidence of working hard and achieving something, could be university but also want other examples

  • Must be living in a commutable distance from Central London, or realistically in a position to relocate
