We are “Youth Mix” a new start-up young people’s education and training charity that aims to become award winning by “Inspiring A Generation” and empowering young people through informal learning to be change makers in their communities, and to deliver highly effective engaging, fun and impactful programmes that UNITE communities, EDUCATE on social issues and build skills, and INSPIRE a generation of young leaders and active citizens.

About the role

We are seeking a Trustee who will not only bring with them self-motivation, time and dedication but will also bring passion, drive, enthusiasm and a real energy and buzz to the role, to really help us make a difference in the lives of young people aged 16 to 26 years old, as well as being a great leader that can bring other Trustees along with us.

What you will do

As finance trustee, you will provide strategic input and direction to the newly formed board as well as advice and support to the charity. The role will also involve developing applications to trust and foundations, as well as potential benefactors for funding.

As this role is voluntary, the role offers great flexibility to fit around your time (including daytimes, evenings and/or weekends, however the majority of our work will take place at bi-monthly evening meetings with occasional weekend daytime activities). Attendance to the bi monthly Trustee meetings is mandatory.
