You will be working with one of Bristol’s well known organisations accommodating high support tenants/rough sleepers that are living in emergency accommodation in Bristol

Your new role

You will be responsible for assessing and supporting clients in a high-quality programme, which promotes client choice and control. It will also be your responsibility to deliver a person-centred approach in determining best move-on outcomes for clients, and best frameworks for support.

You will also facilitate client meetings working independently in accordance with lone working policy and procedures whilst working with Programme Manager and Support Workers to ensure best outcomes for clients.

it is essential that you adopt a multi-agency approach to supporting clients, including onboarding, supporting handover of clients, offering continued check-in support, all whilst working in a person-centred way, ensuring successful outcomes for clients.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Knowledge of the main support needs which are commonly faced by homeless and vulnerable clients.
  • Knowledge of the housing market, and property industry (ideally from a lettings perspective).
  • Knowledge of Government policy regarding homelessness and housing legislation.
  • Ability to be self-directed, managing your own time scales and can demonstrate ability to make decisions under pressure, including taking on changing responsibilities
  • Knowledge of the benefits system and an understanding of supported housing funding streams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
