About the role

Working for Gloucestershire Domestic Abuse Support Service (GDASS – part of GreenSquareAccord) www.gdass.org.uk, GDASS provides support to victims of domestic abuse (16+) living in Gloucestershire.

In addition to support services, GDASS also operate a helpline and manage the Places of Safety properties.

Your role is to ensure the effective collection of income on behalf of GreenSquareAccord including rent & service charges, court costs, recharges, sundry debts and any other income collection as required by GreenSquareAccord and in line with targets set by the Board.

You will oversee line management of staff responsible for collection of income from current & former tenants, recharges & sundry debts across the GreenSquareAccord Group along with administration staff and will have responsibility for identifying & implementing improvements within Orchard, ongoing training and performance management.

About you

You will have a minimum 2 years supervisory in staff management ideally experience in arrears management or transferable skills in similar fields.

You must have experience of 1-1`s and appraisals

You will have experience of housing association rent collection procedures and sector guidance, rent account systems and payment processes.

You will have experience of PCOL / MCOL possession proceedings / Small Claims Court and presenting cases in court.

You will have previous experience of income recovery, arrears recovery, debt recovery, or credit control.
