Hostel Support Worker
Bristol
£10.50 an hour

You will be supporting the homeless from varied backgrounds. Moving service users into the hostel. Assisting with cooking, computer work, sign posting, setting up external agency meeting at the hostel, welfare checks of rooms, key allocation, benefits, etc.

If you have patience , confidence and the ability to communicate with people at all levels you would be a great fit for this flexible role. You will need at least 6 months experience working with people from backgrounds of Mental Health, complex needs, substance abuse or Homelessness. Being able de-escalate chaotic situations and deal with intimidating/verbal behaviour is essential.

This is flexible working and likely to be short notice, for a night shift 9:15am – 7:15am, OR, a day shift 7am-3:30pm / 1pm – 9:30pm.
