Responsibilities

:

  • Build Cloud Infrastructure as code in Terraform, CloudFormation to host WSO line of products.
  • Build Cloud Native automation to monitor health, quality, and compliance of product in Cloud.
  • Build CI/CD enabled pipelines for the deployment of automation work products.
  • Operational support of client installations of Wall Street Office in the AWS public cloud.
  • Design and test build scripts to automate standard workflows within the application and infrastructure stacks
  • Assist in the development of processes and practices as it relates to the migration of workloads to AWS.
  • Collaborate with product teams and make recommendations for better cloud alignment.
  • Automate standards operational practices and processes as needed.
  • Help in identifying and documenting application and infrastructure enhancements to improve overall performance and client experiences.
  • Respond to operational incidents and address/correct issues found to restore services.
  • Document root cause analysis of issues identified and participate in process improvements to prevent additional issues.
  • Assist in developing and implementing DevOps best practices.
  • Skills/Requirements:

  • 1 year of Devops or similar infrastructure-based experience
  • Understanding of Devops practices and ability to work in a strong team
  • Experience in MS Windows based infrastructure.
  • Basic understanding of Linux and shell scripting in it.
  • General understanding of source control and git.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of industry best practices around Information Security, Windows Operations and AWS Public Cloud technologies
  • Basic Knowledge of AWS services like EC2, S3, Cloudwatch, IAM etc..
  • Strong understanding of scripting tools and technologies; specifically, YAML, PowerShell and JSON
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Strong time and project management skills.
  • Bachelors degree preferred
