Salary: Lecturer scale points 23-37: £24,060 – £36,299 per annum dependant on experience

We are looking for someone to join our curriculum team to contribute to delivery, planning, development and student support. You will be part of a large area with over 150 learners involved in teaching and developing a range of courses that will include Gateway Digital & IT Skills level 1 and 2, BTEC level 2 and 3, the introduction of T levels, other commercial course i.e. CISCO and potentially some apprenticeships programmes. You will also be expected to take responsibility for high levels of attendance and achievement on courses delivered as well as all administrative tasks related to class responsibility.

We are looking for someone with a recognised level 4 qualification in Computing or equivalent industry experience. You will have and knowledge of some or all of the following skills – programming languages, cyber security, data analysis and/or networking. You should have a relevant teaching qualification or be willing to work towards and achieve within 2 years of appointment (self-funding). A recognised degree in Computing or related discipline is desirable but not essential, along with relevant industrial and/or professional experience and a strong awareness of contemporary developments within the Computing sector.
