At Sodexo, our facilities management professionals are at the heart of what we do, and we are looking to recruit a Multi-skilled Maintenance Technician to support the operation and maintenance of all plant, equipment, and installations within the hospital estate at Kings College Hospital – Golden Jubilee Wing.

If you are a Multi-skilled Maintenance Technician with a varied skill set, you will carry out a variety of duties. You will have the ability to read drawings, effect fault diagnosis on plant and equipment and carry out planned and reactive maintenance services both inside and outside of operating hours. You will also carry out planned maintenance of Electrical Devices and test equipment calibration and sources of error.

A few things about you

We are looking for a skilled, time served electrical professional with experience of electrical maintenance / installations, who holds a C+G/Btec or equivalent in Electrical Engineering. You must be qualified to 18th Edition Electrical Regulations with proven experience within Electrical trade. You will need to have strong communication skills with the ability to demonstrate great teamwork.

You must be a fully competent AP, appointed in the fault diagnosis, maintenance repair and testing of Electrical assets. Previous use of CAFM and BMS systems would be great. You’ll be computer literate preferably with knowledge of building management systems.

As Sodexo embeds a strong Safety culture in everything we do, there will be procedures, site specific guidelines / requirements and regulations to follow such so it is vital that you have a good understand of Health and Safety at Work regulation and previous experience adhering to set engineering standards.

You must be a strong team player with great communication skills, who enjoys working as part of a team. You must be able to work unsupervised and be able to prioritise work tasks whilst remaining calm under pressure.
