This role involves providing day to day support, advice and assistance in the Homelessness and Housing Solutions Team, specifically in relation to homeless prevention. The work in this service area can be challenging and at times stressful therefore the post holder must possess good interpersonal skills, empathy, sound judgement along with excellent time management skills. You will need to be highly organised, self-motivated, and non-judgemental but also a good team player.
On a day-to-day basis you will need to liaise with a variety of individuals/organisations both internal and external to the Council in order to execute your duties.
We are looking for applicants who can demonstrate an adaptable and flexible approach, a positive can-do attitude, and an ability to work on their own initiative.
This post has been identified as suitable for flexible working which enables the postholder to work 60% of their working time away from the office
