We are currently looking for an Admin Coordinator to work within the Manchester area at several Prisons, helping to find work for ex-offenders and providing support post release.

Office will be based in Manchester, but will be required to travel throughout the North region.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, day shifts may vary.

What does this job involve?

  • Assist with the recruitment of ex-offenders upon their release from prison
  • Work with third party organisations to support the recruitment process prior to offenders being released
  • Assist with the administration of the day-to-day running and reporting of the Key Academy
  • Follow up with employed ex-offenders to monitor and report progress post release
  • Work with the rehabilitation manager on future development of communication plan for internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide employment support to serving offenders in the form of Mock Interviews
  • Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service and communication
  • Employer engagement experience
  • Experienced administrator with knowledge of all Microsoft packages
  • Strong communications skills
  • IT Literate to enable accurate and timely reporting
  • Enhanced Security clearance is mandatory requirement for this role.
  • The employee should be prepared to work in a “prison environment”.
  • Travel for role- Full Valid UK Driving License – Expenses provided for use of own vehicle
  • This role sometimes involves working directly with prisoners
  • *Please note: This role requires travelling to multiple live operational prison environments within the North Region, and you will be in direct contact with inmates who are currently serving a sentence.
