Your new role
My client is looking for somebody to join their team on a temporary on-going basis to support children, care leavers and homeless young people in a supported housing facility in order to give them the best chance of building independent futures. You will be working closely with the service users to develop support plans, undertake health and safety checks of the accommodation and complete welfare checks.
Location – Long Eaton
37 hours per week
Working pattern – 4 week rota, required to work at least 2 weekends a month but can be flexible around this as to when worked. Hours – 8am-4pm / 2pm-10pm / 11am-7pm.
*if worked a weekend you will be given 2 days off in the week*
Must be flexible to work Christmas hours (Double pay for bank holidays)

What you’ll need to succeed
Experience of working with young people is desirable but the ability to build rapport and encourage young people to make informed, good decisions is essential, along with the ability to liaise with Social Workers and Leaving Care Workers in a demanding environment.
