We have a great opportunity based at our Shuttleworth campus for a Team Leader – Libraries & Learning Resources to become a key member of our Student Services department.

As a Team Leader – Libraries & Learning Resources, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students through:

  • Maintaining a suitable environment and services to support the learning needs of all students
  • Co-ordinating and prioritising the work of the team while supporting and training students and teaching staff in the use of library facilities and systems.
  • Providing academic support to students in 1-1, small group, and class sessions as part of the study skills programme
  • Ensuring the book and learning resources stock matches curriculum needs
  • Promoting the library resources to enhance achievements amongst students
  • Our ideal candidates will have experience of supervising staff and experience of dealing with the public in a service environment , alongside the following qualifications:

  • Educated to A Level standard
  • English and mathematics or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent or willingness to achieve English and mathematics Level 2 within one year
