Prospectus is pleased to be working with a homelessness charity based in Newham, whose mission is to provide support to people who find themselves sleeping rough in East London by providing a safe and welcoming place to stay, and offering support through the provision of personalised support, educational and life skills opportunities. They are looking to recruit a Front of House Officer to provide a front of house service to their internal and external stakeholders, and visitors.
As Front of House Officer, you will work as part of a team delivering a professional front of house service to residents, employees, supports and any visitors to the organisation. Providing cover to the main reception area, you will be dealing with enquiries on the telephone and at reception from residents with complex needs, applicant for housing, contractors and any other visitors. Finally, you will also assist with general front of house duties, including ensuring visitor policies and procedures are met, monitoring CCTV and providing general administrative support to wider colleagues.
To be considered, you will have previous experience of working in a customer focused role and possess strong front of house and administrative skills. Due to the nature of this position, you will be required to have some insight into supported housing, homeless and/or care setting either in a paid, voluntary or educational capacity. Strong IT skills and exceptional communication skills both written and verbal are essential, as is working practice and knowledge of data protection and confidentiality.
To be considered, you must be willing to work 37.5 hours per week, rotating shift pattern from Monday – Sunday.
