Our Young Persons Accommodation Pathway is a cluster of services providing support and accommodation to young people (16- 25). The accommodation and support provided to young people within the pathway, will ensure young people have a place to call home they can attach to, learn independent living skills, develop aspirations and move into independent living.

The role of the Day Concierge / Assistant is a key one, in ensuring the smooth day to day running of the services in conjunction with the Duty worker. As the first point of contact over the telephone and face to face for clients and stakeholders, you will represent the service as the front of house liaison.

Previous experience of the sector is not required as this role provides a great opportunity to learn on the job. Also, within the team there is a wealth of information that can be drawn from, and training will be provided. 

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have strong customer service skills
  • Have a genuine interest for working with people and young people
  • Are reflective and can respond positively to challenges
  • Adaptive work approach to fit around the various needs of the young people we work with.
  • Have a flexible and resilient approach to their work.
  • Is creative and innovative in the way they think and equally apply those qualities to their working practices.
  • The role will require you to work in shifts, that could be early or afternoon /evening cover from Sunday to Saturday.
