Lead Outreach Worker
We have an exciting opportunity to join an Outreach Service with a brilliant team who are dedicated to reducing the number of rough sleepers on the streets throughout Croydon and to assist rough sleepers to obtain temporary accommodation, delivering personalised case management along the way.
We are looking for an organised, motivated and enthusiastic Lead Outreach Worker which is a pivotal role within the team. As the Lead Worker you will be carrying out risk assessment with newly admitted rough sleepers and provide support and advice to the Outreach Workers within the team.
The role is Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm with one early shift per week 6am – 2pm. The successful candidate must have; excellent communication skills; the ability to build strong effective working relationships; the ability to empower individuals to make positive changes; and experience working with homeless clients.
