Overview

Reporting to the Project Manager and Team Leader within the Project/Service, the EU Drug and Alcohol Tenancy Support Worker will be responsible for coordinating and providing a personalised, trauma informed service to people with a drug and alcohol issue that are experiencing issues within their tenancy linked to their substance use or will be moving into accommodation.

The post holder will be expected to work with service users with priority needs and concentrate on connecting with different communities in Hull that have historically faced barriers accessing support services and sustaining tenancies.

We are looking for compassionate, empathic, proactive individuals who has experience with working with EU nationals to join our existing Homeless Drug and Alcohol Outreach Team. We want to ensure we build positive and supportive relationships with the people we support and when they would like to access our service they are able to ensuring that their needs are fully met. We work holistically and as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure that we achieve improved outcomes for people that have suffered multiple disadvantage.
