Are you experienced working with vulnerable groups and in particular Racially Minoritised Communities?

The UK’s largest provider of health and wellbeing services are looking for 2 Outreach Wellbeing Coaches . As part of the team servicing Essex, you will promote and deliver wellbeing coaching to hard to engage groups, to increase their connections within the community for long term impact.

This is a permanent, full- time role 35 hours per week . This role is based from home but will require you to travel regularly around Essex (Mon-Fri) working within the community. The organisation offers continuing professional development and learning opportunities.

As an Outreach Wellbeing Coach , you will aid the development and delivery of health intervention programmes in Essex. You will deliver a 1:1 coaching programme to support hard to engage groups self-management and to work on clients’ barriers as well as improve their self-worth and confidence.

You will work closely with target populations to gain trust and engagement and to find people who will benefit support but are not likely to access the service via the normal referral routes. Your focus groups in this role will include the following:

Homeless, Criminal justice system, Traveller communities, Racially Minoritised Groups, Drugs and Alcohol misusers, LGBTQ+, People who have lost trust in services.

In this role, you will also establish and maintain professional relationships with partner agencies and will use tracking systems to manage the data of a caseload of individuals you will work with.

To be considered you will have:-

*Experience with working with ‘hard to engage’ groups particularly Racially Minoritised Communities
*Good knowledge and understanding of national and local health priorities, and the needs of target populations.
*Experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating targeted education or health promotion services, working with a range of partner agencies, stakeholders, and internal teams.
*Full UK Driver’s license
