Knowledge and Qualifications

Essential

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • NMC Nursing registration
  • Knowledge of the particular issues that characterise the provision of health services to vulnerable groups and homeless persons
  • Managing patients with addictions
  • Computer Literacy skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Desirable

  • Post registration training
  • Experience of service implementation
  • Experience

    Essential

  • Substantial experience managing complex caseloads of a team
  • Experience of leading and running of clinical services autonomously
  • Experience of Wound care management, Infection control, Chronic illness support, Safeguarding and Protection, Medication and Administration, Protection of vulnerable adults, Phlebotomy, Minor injurie, Care planning
  • Desirable

  • Experience of leading the delivery of a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience working in the homelessness sector
  • Experience establishing a new service or model of care
