Responsibilities

:

  • Partner closely with people leaders, colleagues, divisional People Partners, Regional Partners and site leaders across our Commodity Insight division as well as supporting our corporate functions based in the UK. This role will support circa 1,200 colleagues.
  • Build strong and effective relationships with Partners, leaders within division, functions, across regional and global remits to develop a deep knowledge and understanding of key priorities, issues and challenges in order to deliver and add value
  • Manage and be involved in the execution of a range of regional projects including reorganization, restructures, acquisitions, divestitures, TUPE, relocations etc. working in partnership with the relevant key stakeholders ensuring any people issues are appropriately considered.
  • Partner closely with other People teams such as Divisional People Partners, People Relations, Talent, People Services, People Movement (Recruitment) compensation and benefits and global mobility (immigration).
  • Advise People Leaders on performance management, People Relations, appropriately evaluating risk and providing guidance/support in executing terminations.
  • Provide regional guidance and perspective on promotions, salary and workforce planning; assist with execution of these activities.
  • Understand applicable local labor regulations and use as a basis in assessing risk/guidance. Stay abreast of new regulations to drive compliance requirements.
  • What We’re Looking For:

  • Ideally you have 5 years of HR experience having worked for medium or large sized matrix complex companies in a fast paced environment which include frequent change management initiatives
  • Strong understanding of people processes and a sound understanding of UK labour
  • You are positive and have a can-do attitude
  • Ability to build strong partnerships and exert influence at all levels within the organisation
  • Resilient and has the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Skilled in handling people relations matters and supporting People Leaders on performance management
  • Experience working for an inclusive organisation as well as working with diverse cultures and geographically dispersed colleague bases
  • Strong proactive problem-solving, decision-making skills a sense of personal accountability.
  • Excellent team player who can partner and collaborate with People Partners both in regions and divisions and pick up support in other areas of the region/business as needed.
  • Ability to remain agile and flexible in a matrixed People Partner model.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, experience with HRIS tools – preferably Workday.
  • Strong project management skills, managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent organisational awareness and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to navigate a fast-paced, complex, highly matrixed organisation.
  • You’ll be asked to work from London office at least 1 day a week.
