Payroll Officer

West Bromwich

Salary – £22,000 – £26,801 per annum – depending on skills and experience

Contract type – Permanent

Working hours – Full Time

About the role

We are now recruiting for a Payroll Officer on a full time, permanent basis.

The Payroll Officer role will require you deliver payroll and pensions transactions and administration across GreenSquareAccord.

You will also contribute to the achievement of internal payroll KPIs and standards via delivery of consistent, accurate and timely payroll services across the Group.

You will ensure safety of all payroll and associated data, ensuring it is entered accurately, regularly checked and maintained and disposed of in line with laws and regulations.

Within the role, you will also support other areas of finance and across the Group by providing useful and timely payroll information.

About you

It is essential that you have previous experience of working within payroll operations.

You will be required to understand and implement policies in area of own expertise and adjust to new business environments, be a fast learner and work with a broad range of staff in a wide-ranging business and culture.

You must have strong analytical and problem solving skills and be able to understand and distil complex financial data to support business decision making.

Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) to enable operating at a Group level within an organisation of different businesses is also required.
