Financial Accountant
West Bromwich
Salary – £31900 – £39800 per annum – depending on skills and experience
Contract type – Permanent
Working hours – Full Time

About the role
You need to ensure timely delivery of accurate, consistent and relevant financial information for both internal and external reporting.
You will be producing annual statutory accounts which comply with accounting standards.
You will be completing tasks to support the year end audit with external auditors.
You will be reviewing balance sheet accounts regularly to ensure accuracy.
You will need to ensure that the information provided is clear for the target audience, whether financial, non-financial, external regulator or statutory auditor
You need to ensure compliance and commit to process improvement and deliver change in financial controls, policies and procedures.
About you
You must have either ACMA/ACCA/ACA part-qualified accountant and with relevant experience.
You need good planning and time management skills, to achieve deadlines in a pressurised environment.
You must be able to adjust to new business environments, be a fast learner and work with a broad range of staff in a wide ranging business and culture.
You need to be innovative and creative. Committed to process improvement, analysing processes and driving change where required.
You must have the ability to add value, see and implement the better way of doing things, improve finance returns Strong analytical skills and able to understand and distil complex financial data to support business decision making.
You need to have the experience of financial planning in a complex business environment.
You need to have the knowledge of statutory reporting and of UK and International Financial Reporting Standards.
