Housing Support Worker
Location: Wolverhampton – out in the community
Hours: 37.5 Hours – Monday to Friday & Occasional Weekend
Shift Pattern: 8am-7:30pm 4 on 4 off / 3 on 3 off
Salary and Benefits

Overview of the role
The client is looking for a full-time Housing Support Worker, based in Wolverhampton to work with their service users who are at risk of homelessness. You will provide support to those who are in need, to try and access the appropriate benefits and help with their tenancy.
To be considered for this position, you must:
- Be a driver with access to your own vehicle
- Have experience in community liaison
- Have experience in resident/service users engagement
- Computer literate, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- At least 6 months’ experience supporting youths or young adults who are homeless or who are at risk of becoming homeless
- You need to be resilient, as some service users will be vulnerable and will have challenging behaviour, and other complex needs

1st Stage – Shortlisting & Pre-Screening
In the first stage I personally will review your CV. Should you be successful, I will invite you for a telephone call. We will then have a telephone conversation to discuss your right to work, work history, and suitability for the role.
