WithinSirona, our 24 Adults Specialist Services (SASS) deliver responsive access tohigh quality specialist advice and intervention to support other key servicessuch as community nursing teams and primary care in the community. Thisspecialist support can take the form of remote clinical advice, education andtraining as well as the provision of direct care and intervention in clinicallycomplex cases requiring specialist input.

Wedeliver a diverse portfolio of specialist healthcare for people with long termconditions Heart Failure, chronic respiratory conditions, and stroke;Physiotherapy for musculoskeletal conditions, specialist care to enableinclusion in healthcare for people who are homeless or refugees; as well as services for adults with Learning Disabilities.

Asa Business manager you will be a key member of the wider senior clinical andoperational Team; leading the Business Support team, and working with Clinicalleads and Specialist Services Managers to drive and successfully deliver withina specific group of our SASS services.

Main duties of the job

You willoversee the business support functions within SASS services ensuring that services are on track and achievingcompliance standards, contractual outcomes; andprovide senior support and coordination to the overall strategic management, business planning and development for the directorate.

Thisparticular role will support the Adults Specialist Services directorate todeliver on the key business priorities and objectives through effectivecontractual, strategic and business planning and management.

Thesuccessful candidate will work closely with the Clinical & Operationalleads and Specialist Services Managers as an integral part of the business teamconsisting of Business support coordinators and administration.

Youwill work closely with leads to support the day to day operational delivery ofservices, particularly those enabling clinical functions such as Administration& reception staff, community equipment and Assistive Technology. This willinclude line management and budgetary responsibility for a portfolio ofclinical services.

Therole requires the post holder to be able to travel to sites across the BNSSGarea where clinical and administrator staff are based. This will include bases in Bristol, South Glos and North Somerset
