Hourly Rate £9.60 per hour

Contract type – Permanent

Working hours Part Time 20 hours per week over 7 days

About the role

To ensure that the highest standards of cleanliness is maintained in public and shared spaces (and in service user`s personal rooms/ homes where appropriate). Providing a high standard cleaning service which meet environmental and infection-control requirements while creating a positive living and working environment.

    About you

    Experience:

  • Experience of undertaking cleaning/housekeeping.
  • Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of cleaning practice required in a care environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of health & safety in creating a safe and homely environment.
  • Understanding/empathy of working with service users who may be vulnerable because of age, disability or other factors.
  • Communication:

  • Able to demonstrate good verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
  • Able to read and record information accurately & legibly.
  • Awareness and understanding of service users` confidentiality.
  • Team working:

  • Ability to work as part of a team comprising people with varying roles & responsibilities.
  • Able to work under own initiative and solve problems.
  • Other:

  • Able to work flexibly including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to travel / work across the district / locality, if required.
