Risk and Assurance Co-Ordinator
Flexible – across South and Midlands as well as hybrid working
Salary – £18300-21700 per annum – depending on skills and experience
Contract type – Permanent
Working hours – Full Time – 4 day working week
Closing Date – 7 April 2023

About the role
You will need to have appropriate and proportionate assurance, to include the effective supporting the co-ordination of outsourced internal audit arrangements, monitoring and reporting on the implementation of agreed actions, and the update and maintenance of GSA`s Assurance Map.
There will be a fit-for-purpose organisational risk management framework, including the capture, recording and assessment of risk, and related controls and assurance activities
There is robust anti-fraud and whistleblowing arrangements (including timely case management and reporting)
There is a framework for co-ordinating the monitoring and update of a complete and consistent set of GSA policies and procedures
A programme of regular reporting to the Leadership Team, Executive Board, ARC and GSA Board in relation to all or any of the above.
About you
You must have a qualification in a related field or a willingness to study towards one.
You need to have experience and knowledge of the social housing operating environment
You must be able to be trusted to recognise and appropriately manage confidential information
You must be able to deploy effective verbal and written communication with stakeholders
You must be committed to process improvement, continually analysing processes and driving change where required.
You must have the ability to gather relevant information from a variety of sources to enable sound decisions to be taken.
You must be able to use project management disciplines and methodologies, including planning and co-ordination, as required.
You must be able to manage difficult conversations effectively.
