You will have your own caseload, working as part of our team and alongside other social care services to identify how we can help. You will work in partnership with Shropshire Homeless Charities to support service users within treatment.About this jobYou will work as part of a team with the aims of:

creating a plan that they can achieve with your support
checking in with them and reviewing their progress
keeping accurate and timely records of your contact with them
working effectively with other social care providers Housing, to cover all aspects of their successful recovery
continuously learning and reflecting to improve the outcomes for your clients
supporting your colleagues across the service to deliver excellent care
We welcome applications for this Recovery Worker role from candidates with experience in the following areas: Caseworker, Flexible Working, Support Worker, Care Planning, Healthcare, Substance Misuse, Social Care, Communication Skills, IT, NVQ Level 3, ONC.Essential SkillsTo be successful in this Recovery Worker role, you will:
have attained ONC/NVQ level 3 or be willing to achieve this within 12 months
have some experience of working in a health, social care, or a related setting
have the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues alike
be able to work effectively in a team, supporting others when needed
be resilient under pressure and able to prioritise your work
have good oral and written communication skills
be comfortable using IT and digital media
be organised and able to manage your time effectively
able to be flexible with your working hours on occasion
be happy to support other With You locations when needed
You will also need to meet our safeguarding requirements of a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.Desirable SkillsWe’ll give your application priority if you:
have previous experience of working with people who misuse substances
knowledge of health and safety, including assessing clients in high-risk situations
