Harris Hill is looking to fill a 3 month, Senior Press and PR Officer role for a national homelessness charity in London.
The role is full time, hybrid based and requires an immediate start.
You will be involved with their work to grow income, brand and influence, challenge attitudes towards homelessness and people who have been homeless, and help give a voice to their clients.
Your work will support their key strategic aims of increasing public empathy and understanding of homelessness and its causes, and raising awareness of their work in their areas of operation.
As a key member of the Policy and Communications team we are looking for someone who has:
Demonstrable PR and media experience having worked on delivering successful campaigns ideally in either public/third sector or as a journalist
Experience of gathering, producing and delivering impactful content, including real life stories, photos, videos and online copy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and is able to communicate with stakeholders at all levels in a clear, meaningful and effective way
The ability to be flexible, respond positively to change, and work effectively under pressure
Experience of managing a range of stakeholders, with competing demands
Experience of working positively with national, regional and industry journalists.
