NEET Caseworker needed with London Borough of Hillingdon

Start Date – ASAP

Location – Hillingdon

Duration – Initially 3 months

Hours per week – 35 hours per week

Salary – £161.46 per day

Description

  • Not in education, employment and training case workers are responsible for engaging with young people to establish their education, employment and training status and identify those in need of support
  • NEET case officers are required to support with working with schools and other educational settings to ensure options and pathways for young people are identified at the earliest possible stage to ensure their progression to education, employment and training at Post 16 is secure
  • To communicate with Social Work Teams, Youth Services, SEND, SENDIASS and other appropriate services that support young people, to establish their EET status and identify young people in need of support into EET or those at risk of NEET
  • NEET caseworkers are required to maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders and clients, ensuring that the council’s interests are protected and ensuring value for money in all transactions

    • What is required?

  • 5 GCSE’s grade A-C including Maths and English or NVQ level 3 in an appropriate field
  • Previous experience working with children and families
